Tom is very knowledgeable and provides great insight on CCW training." - Dr. Jeffry Phillips, LAPD Commanding Officer
Unlike other trainers who may only require you to shoot the basic minimum qualification for your permit and spend most of the time in a classroom, we go above and beyond to prepare you up for the serious responsibility of carrying a gun in public.
The majority of our CCW training is live fire practice at the range, NOT in the classroom. 11 of 16 hours of initial training, and all 8 hours of renewal training is at our outdoor firing range.
We teach you holster draw from concealment, and how to shoot both one and two-handed as fast as defensively accurate, critical skills for realistic self-defense that most gun owners aren't capable of training because holster draw and rapid fire aren't allowed at public ranges.
Our comprehensive lecture emphasizes knowledge of the laws, a defensive mindset and critical decision-making to avoid bad situations in the first place, with a firearm as a last resort whenever possible.
