• Most CCW permit holders only shot the basic qualification in their initial training and spent more time in a classroom and minimal shooting. 
• We are the opposite of most CCW schools: 8 hours with minimal lecture and majority live fire (250 rounds) practicing realistic shooting skills like rapid fire and shooting on the move in our dynamic Run & Gun class.

• We are partnered with Asset Training Group, who are authorized to teach new CCW applicants on weekends, both CA residents and non-residents. 
• ATG co-founder Alex Frank was a lawyer for Michel & Associates working on 2nd Amendment rights cases, like concealed carry in CA, and brings his invaluable legal expertise for your questions about self defense.
• Lecture emphasizes a defensive mindset and critical decision-making to avoid bad situations in the first place, with a firearm as a last resort whenever possible. 

For clients who understand you can't put a price on realistic skills that could save lives. Because the cost of failure will be much greater, not just financially, but emotionally and physically for life.

One on one attention with Tom Nguyen, our founder, who has witnessed gun homicide & been involved in a violent encounter as a CCW permit holder, as real world lessons. The lecture emphasizes a defensive mindset, what to expect in a fight or fight situation, and the immediate aftermath if we ever resort to use of force.

 Live fire training goes above and beyond just passing the basic qualification. We teach advanced skills like holster draw, how to shoot sooner without over confirming sights, rapid fire while still being defensively accurate, clearing malfunctions, one-handed shooting & more.

 Timed shooting drills to simulate shooting under pressure and taking your shooting ability to the next level. IWB/OWB holster required.

8 Hour Credit for LAPS clients: If you've taken either Pistol 101/101+ AND either Pistol 201/202 within 1 year, they count towards 8 hours of your initial training, and you only have to take the remaining 8 hours privately with me.

Additional Applicants/Family/Friend discount: Part 1 live fire is the same as Pistol 101+: Accuracy & Best Practices and Part 2 live fire is the same as Pistol 201: Speed & Performance. Additional people who aren't applying for a CCW but want to learn the same skills can join you at $250/person.
