We are a Los Angeles County authorized training provider for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD), Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and all cities that accept our CCW training.

WEEKEND 16HR INITIAL TRAINING ($450)

Most CCW schools spend more time in the classroom and very little shooting at the range.
The majority of our CCW training, 12 hours are live fire (250 rounds) at the outdoor range to make sure your shooting foundation is solid and equip you with advanced realistic skills like rapid fire from holster draw.
More the merrier! We're the only CCW school that lets your family/friends join you so we make you all better shooters, even if they aren't applying for a CCW ($250/person).
Hot meal provided on Day 2 for the 4 hour Sunday evening classroom lecture.
2 days of training can be completed over different weekends.
Returning clients use LAPS10 for 10% OFF and credited for 8 hours if 2 classes taken within 1 year of CCW training.
CA NON-RESIDENTS: Yes, we provide training for out-of-state residents. Book here if you are in CA these dates. Or contact ATG to complete the 16 hour requirement online.

Looking for a challenge to test your real skill as a responsible defender? Don't sit in a boring classroom -- instead, spend the day at the range practicing shooting on the move.
Most CCW permit holders only shot the basic qualification in their initial training and spent more time in a classroom than actually shooting. Let's fix that now that you have the serious responsibility of carrying a gun in public.
8 hours with minimal lecture and majority live fire (250 rounds) practicing realistic shooting skills like rapid fire in our dynamic Run & Gun class.
Returning clients use LAPS10 for 10% OFF.

LAPS CLIENTS GET 8 HR CREDIT TOWARDS 16 HR INITIAL TRAINING ($350)

2 LAPS classes within previous year count towards 8 hours of your 16 hour initial CCW training.
Remaining 8 hours of 4 hour range time, 4 hour classroom lecture.
Hot meal provided for the evening classroom portion.

PRIVATE 16HR INITIAL / 8HR RENEWAL (MON-FRI)

For clients who understand you can't put a price on realistic skills that could save lives. Because the cost of failure will be much greater, not just financially, but emotionally and physically for life.
One on one attention with Tom Nguyen, our founder, who has witnessed gun homicide & been involved in a violent encounter as a CCW permit holder, as real world lessons. The lecture emphasizes a defensive mindset, what to expect in a fight or fight situation, and the immediate aftermath if we ever resort to use of force.
Live fire training goes above and beyond just passing the basic qualification. We teach advanced skills like holster draw, how to shoot sooner without over confirming sights, rapid fire while still being defensively accurate, clearing malfunctions, one-handed shooting & more.
Timed shooting drills to simulate shooting under pressure and taking your shooting ability to the next level.
Returning clients use LAPS10 for 10% OFF and can get 8 hours of CCW training credited if 2 LAPS classes taken within previous year.

ADD NEW PISTOLS TO CCW PERMIT ($100)

For many agencies like LASD & LAPD, you no longer need to wait until your renewal to add new pistols to your permit. Qualify up to 3 pistols.
