- We are proud to partner with Asset Training Group, who are authorized to teach our open enrollment CCW Group Classes on weekends.
- ATG co-founder Alex Frank was a lawyer for Michel & Associates working on 2nd Amendment rights cases, like concealed carry in CA, and brings his invaluable legal expertise for your questions about self defense.
- Lecture emphasizing a defensive mindset and critical decision-making to avoid bad situations in the first place, with a firearm as a last resort whenever possible.

Live fire training goes above and beyond just passing the basic qualification. We teach advanced skills like holster draw, how to shoot sooner without over confirming sights, rapid fire while still being defensively accurate, clearing malfunctions, one-handed shooting & more.
Timed shooting drills to simulate shooting under pressure and taking your shooting ability to the next level. An appropriate IWB/OWB holster required.
I am only available every 4 weeks so my availability is very limited:
May 11-15, Jun 15-19, Jul 20-24, Aug 24-28, Sep 28-Oct 2, Nov 9-13, Dec 7-11
If I am not available, you can contact ATG who are authorized to teach private lessons on my behalf. Their pricing differs.
Part 1: Lecture + Fundamentals Live Fire (8hr) ($1200):
Classroom lecture in Azusa, lunch provided before live fire.
Part 2: CCW Training & Qualifications (8hr) ($1200)
Holster Draw, Speed & Performance Shooting, Clearing Malfunctions, One Handed Shooting & CCW Qualification
Initial Applicants: Book Part 1 + Part 2
Renewal Applicants: Book Part 2
Live Fire Location: Burro Canyon Shooting Park in Azusa
8 Hour Credit for LAPS clients: If you've taken either Pistol 101/101+ AND either Pistol 201/202 within 1 year, they count towards 8 hours of your initial training, and you only have to take the remaining 8 hours privately with me.
Additional Applicants/Family/Friend discount: Part 1 live fire is the same as Pistol 101-B: Accuracy & Best Practices and Part 2 live fire is the same as Pistol 201: Speed & Performance. Additional people can join you at $250/person.
ADDING NEW FIREARMS TO EXISTING PERMIT
If your issuing agency allows you to add new firearms to your existing permit, you can book to qualify those firearms.
Cost: $100
No limit on number of fiearms to qualify.
