WHERE TO START:
Founder & lead instructor Tom lives in Mexico and only returns to L.A. to teach every 4 weeks, so classes fill up fast. Book early!
1. If you are nervous about guns, watch our free Friendly Intro to Firearms video first before deciding if you are ready to take a class or not. Whether you care about guns or not, this knowledge is almost necessary living in a country with more guns than people.
2. If you have zero to little experience and don't own a gun yet, take Pistol 101 Safety & Fundamentals. If you have some experience and own a gun, take Pistol 101+ Accuracy & Best Practices. They are taught together in the same class for couples and groups with different levels of experience who want to attend together.
3. If you already have experience and want to take your shooting to the next level, take Pistol 201 Speed & Performance or Pistol 202 Red Dot: Unlock Its Power.

With the huge demand for gun lessons during these times and a lack of safe, inclusive spaces with quality information, we are making our Pistol 101-A Friendly Intro to Firearms available for FREE to all.
This video is part of our Pistol 101 course students watch at home to build confidence before coming to class, especially for those most scared and nervous about guns.

Whether you are totally new to firearms, or it's been a long time since you've touched a pistol, Pistol 101 is a comprehensive course that covers everything to give you a strong foundation with gun safety, how pistols work inside and out, and how to shoot them accurately and consistently.

Pistol 102 Try Before You Buy
*ONLY FOR RETURNING CLIENTS WHO TOOK PISTOL 101/101-B*
Learn how to make an informed purchasing decision and what criteria to consider in purchasing your 1st handgun. Shoot 12 different semi-automatic 9mm handguns of different brands, models, actions, sizes (full size to micro compact). Practice and refresh fundamentals learned in Pistol 101.

Pistol 201 Speed & Performance
Buying a gun for home defense requires more knowledge and practice than just basic slow shooting at public ranges. You will learn fundamentals skills for realistic and dynamic defensive shooting: sight deviation, defensively accurate rapid fire, clearing malfunctions, one handed shooting, timed drills to measure performance under pressure. Appropriate holster is required.

Pistol 202 Red Dot: Unlock Its Power
Whether you're new to the dot, have difficulty finding the dot, or want to learn how to shoot the dot at speed, master the dot in one class! Learn how to zero your optic, find the dot on presentation, shoot the dot at different distances, multiple target transitions with the dot, and dot occlusion.

Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW)
Now that good cause is no longer required to apply for Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) permit in L.A. County since 2022, we offer weekend open enrollment group classes with our CCW partners and private training Mon-Wed:
