Whether you are totally new to firearms, or it's been a long time since you've touched a pistol, Pistol 101 is a 

comprehensive course that covers everything to give you a strong foundation with gun safety, how pistols work inside and out, and how to shoot them accurately and consistently.

We also have the latest innovations and accessories to accommodate people of all physical and visual abilities.

Choose from 2 options: They are taught together in the same class for couples and groups with different levels of experience who want to attend together.

1. If you are new to guns and want a firm foundation from Day 1, take Pistol 101: Safety & Fundamentals for *$250. You don't need to own a gun since we provide all guns & ammo, eye and electronic ear protection for the most comfortable experience. 

2. If you have some experience and own a gun and want a refresher to fix any bad habits, take Pistol 101+: Accuracy & Best Practices for *$175. Gun & ammo rental available for $50.

*There is a separate $50 range fee paid directly to Burro Canyon Shooting Park in Azusa, the outdoor shooting range where our lessons are conducted.

Before coming to class, students watch a Friendly Intro to Firearms online video at home to build confidence before coming to class, especially for those most scared and nervous about guns.

Our class is conducted at our own private range for a more private and secure experience, away from the untrained general public side of the range. Always 1-on-1 during live fire for ultimate safety & individual attention for every student.

LIVE FIRE PRACTICE

We use pistols chambered in .22LR which is less recoil and less intimidating for first time shooters and then build up their confidence to shoot 9mm by the end of the class.

We also introduce students to shooting with pistol optics aka Red Dot sights, which are the latest innovation to help people with all visual abilities aim with less frustration and shoot more accurately.

 For people with some experience who own a gun or new gun owners, who aren't beginners needing to start with gentler .22LR but want to practice with their gun, correct bad habits, improve accuracy & get a refresher on the most updated, efficient fundamentals taught in Pistol 101.

Gun & 9mm ammo not included and available for additional $50 rental.
