🎯 Crisia @sincolormusic came to class with her wife Yessica and was terrified to even shoot 22LR but ended the class shooting holes in holes with 9mm!👏
What helped Crisia was the realization that she was building a relationship with the trigger. She could feel the stages down to the wall, and still being able to finesse, not force the trigger past the wall.
Really proud of their interview on CNN about being a Queer Brown couple changing the narrative on what gun ownership looks like.
As a 1st time shooter, James had no flinch or anticipation because he understood the fundamentals don't change at all regardless what gun or caliber I put in his hands.
So last time, even though Andrew was nervous his first time shooting a gun at Pistol 101, he shot so well, he earned our exclusive patch shooting #LAPSOneHoleChallenge!
So proud of him still shooting holes in holes with just one hand only his 2nd time shooting a gun in his life!👏
2 weeks ago, Muriel was so afraid of 9mm, I had to coax her to try just 1 round out of her new Glock.
1 week ago, I weaned her off of 22LR and she shot her 1st groups of 9mm.
At yesterday's weekly coaching, every group Muriel shot was a tight group at 5yds on a 4" circle.
Dasan is one of the fastest learners I've ever had!
After warming up with 22LR and initial shock from his 1st shot with 9mm, he was off to the races!
This is the 1st Pistol 101 group I told about our new #LAPSOneHoleChallenge and Dasan was so close to passing it!
All 3 attempts...he's consistently shooting 4 shots touching in one hole and just missing the last shot! His father, brother and I were literally holding our breath with excitement watching Dasan shoot each time.

By the end of the lesson, all 3 siblings were shooting holes in holes with 9mm at 5yds with red dot, and Rocio and Jaime Sr. were so proud of their children's performance!
With some arthritic issues, Cris was still able to rack the slide after being shown efficient technique and body mechanics.

After warming up with 22LR and then letting her shoot 1 round of 9mm to see how she feels, Cris shot the next 4 rounds touching each other at a 4" circle at 5yds!💪🏾
So proud of @wexlergreg who like most of my clients was never interested in guns until now. He's left handed so he bought a H&K P2000, one of the very few handgun models with ambidextrous controls allowed to be sold in CA. I've trained myself to be able to manipulate and shoot pistols just as competently left handed so I can help folks like him.
Brooke came to class the most nervous about guns and it was incredible to see the transformation to being so calm and confident by the end of class, shooting Holes in Holes consistently!
